Raymond Morris, age 82, of Frankford, DE, passed away Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.

Raymond was born in Selbyville, DE, son of the late, John Oscar Roebuck Morris and Georgie Mae Morris.

Raymond was Weigh Master for Mountaire Farms, retiring after 51 years of service. He was a member of the Selbyville Elks Club and the Jay Patch Beagle Club.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his son, Donald Morris in 1994 and wife, Betty Morris in 2008. He is survived by two daughters, Janet O’neal (Fred) and Bonnie Shockley (Chris); a son, Terry Morris (Robin); a sister, Betty Hudson; brother, Edward Morris (Marie); sister in law, Charlotte Clark (Donald); five grandchildren, Kevin O’neal (Melissa), Carey Lynch (J.C.), Leigh Ann Morris, Christy Rogers (Michael) and Zachary Morris; six great grandchildren, Garrett O’neal, Jessie John Michael “Jake” O’neal, Zoe O’neal, Colt Lynch, Jacob Lynch and Brayden Lee Miller.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on 38040 Muddy Neck Rd in Ocean View, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Burial will be in the Roxana Cemetery.
