Bambi E. Collins, age 52, of Lewes, formerly of Bethany Beach, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Bambi was born in Salisbury, MD, on November 5, 1959 daughter of William and Doris (Kerr) Collins. She was a 1977 graduate of Indian River High School and was previously an active member of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and her animals. She was preceded in death by her two siblings, Scott Collins and Brenda Showalter. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James A. Nilan, III; son, Colin J. Nilan of Lewes; her parents, William and Doris Collins of Dagsboro; a sister, Colleen Murphy of Dagsboro and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 12:00 noon at St. George's U.M. Church in Clarksville, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE. 19963.
